How It Works

We think our honeymoon registry system is pretty easy to use. To explain it in detail, we have broken it up into steps:

Step 1. Sign up

Just go to our signup page, enter your details, pay the $149 fee and we will be in contact with you.

Step 2. Create your registry

This is the fun part - where you get to decide what your honeymoon itinerary will consist of. You can create as many gifts as you like for people to buy. Some examples of gifts are:

  • Accommodation
  • Flights (or parts of flights if they are too expensive)
  • Entry to tourist attractions
  • Romantic dinners
  • Cocktails on the beach

The list is relatively endless - anything you want to do on your honeymoon can be included!

Step 3. Wedding invitations

Simply mention in your wedding invitations that your guests can contribute to your honeymoon registry by visiting your registry website (we will give you your registry address after you sign up - ie. http://demo.travelregistry.com.au).

Step 4. Guests buy gifts

When your guests visit your registry website, they can choose which gift(s) they want to purchase. They can leave their name and some comments for the bride and groom if they want. After they have selected and paid for their gift(s) online, the gift will be marked as 'Bought' on the registry, so no other guests can buy it.

Step 5. Pay for your honeymoon

Our service enables you to receive 2 payments from your gift registry. So, for example, if you need money 30 days before your wedding to pay for your travel, we will happily transfer the balance of your registry into your nominated bank account. We will then transfer the remaining balance into your bank account the day after your wedding.

Step 6. Enjoy your honeymoon!

After the wedding, all there is to do is relax on your honeymoon paid for by your guests!
