We haven't booked any accommodation yet! We will be moving around quite a bit in the South Island and so plan to use a variety of accommodation available :)
David and I love driving around on our holidays, and we are very excited to explore New Zealand this way
Airport Private Lounge Access
It's always nice to be able to relax in comfort while waiting for a plane :)
Share a bottle of wine on the Beach
New Zealand has an excellent reputation for their lovely wines and beautiful beaches. Why not combine the two?
Romantic Dinner for Two
You can never have two much romance! David and I like to celebrate our anniversary every month - it's on these occasions that we indulge in our love of fine food and trying new restaurants. We can't wait to do the same in NZ!
Need I say more? As David is not really a fan of getting massages, I'll take one (or two) for the team while he goes bungy jumping or does some other crazy activity!
Sunset Cocktails for Two
What better way to end the day than to have a cocktail or two as the sun goes down?
Air Rangitata will take us on a one hour scenic flight, stopping for a picnic near the headwaters of the Rangitata river

Dunedin Railways - Taieri Gorge Railway
David and I love trains, so we can't think of a better way to take in the sights Dunedin has to offer. Taieri Gorge Railway specialises in scenic train trips into the spectacular Central Otago Hinterland and up the rugged Otago Coast north of Dunedin
Stewart Island Ferry Services
A one hour boat ride to get to Stewart Island! I've heard it's a choppy ride so let's hope I don't get seasick. Stewart Island Ferry services offer scheduled daily departures on board our express catamarans between Bluff and Stewart Island (all year)
Bird Watching Tour with Ruggedy Range
Highly recommended - penguins on the short boat ride to Ulva Island aboard “Aihe”. tracks through primeval rainforest. close views of rare and endangered birds, listen to exquisite birdsong. Admire delicate ferns, mosses and wild orchids

This is so we can visit the underwater observatory - what an experience, to be able to view the "inner beauty" of the Milford Sound!

A 4WD experience like no other. Rural Discovery Tours has exclusive access to Mount Earnslaw Station. Reaching an altitude of 1400ft we will be captivated by the scenic views, bush walks, hiking and wildlife
Kawarau Suspension Bridge Bungee Jump
So this one is just for David - there is absolutely no way I'll be jumping off anything for thrills. A. J. Hackett’s 43m Kawarau Suspension Bridge is world’s first commercial and the most popular bungy jumping site of Queenstown.
Mount Cook Village
Big Sky Stargazing
Most nights in summertime, David and I like to lie on the trampoline and look up at the stars. We spot satellites, marvel at shooting stars, and watch aeroplanes glide through the night sky. It's the simple pleasures in life.
Our aim is to be able to take a selfie each time we use one of the gifts that have been purchased and tag or send a postcard to the person as we are enjoying the gift (Unless its the massage... then we will just send a thank you :) )
